I know you’re likely here for the cookies, but let me tell you some other fun stuff first.
Today (and Tomorrow) on Amazon you can get the natural health book I co-edited Kick Your Menstrual Cramps in the Nuts
Kick Menstrual Cramps in the Nuts is brought to you by touring comedian turned natural health expert, T.C. Hale (aka Tony Hale).
In Kick Menstrual Cramps in the Nuts, not only will Hale have you laughing out loud while he reveals the secrets behind cramps and how the human body functions, you will also learn how to look at your own body chemistry to understand the underlying cause of YOUR menstrual cramps. Since the reason cramps can exist varies from person to person, once you understand what is going on with your chemistry, this book will help you understand what foods, supplements, or lifestyle changes could eliminate your desire to scream at inanimate objects once a month.
The Kick It In The Nuts series believes in a healthier you. We think it’s lame that so many people believe that they are stuck with the issues that plague them. We’re digging up information on just about every topic we can find. Information that might blow you away. Thomas Edison once said that “The doctor of the future will no longer treat the human frame with drugs, but rather will cure and prevent disease with nutrition.” Well, he invented the light bulb, so he knows what’s up.
If you don’t have a Kindle, there are free apps to read it on your phone/computer/iPad etc.
To those of you that don’t have a vagina, I still highly recommend reading this book if you have any other kind of health issue or if you’re looking to lose weight. The book focuses on the science of managing chemical imbalances within the body to restore yourself to optimal health. It’s hands on self-help for anyone that hates going to the doctors office, like me.
I will also note, it is thanks to this science I don’t take any synthetic drugs to manage my bipolar: it’s all through natural supplements and food choices.
Plus, it’s FREE, so why not check it out and pass it on?
You’ll make me look good.
And now what you sick people come here for:
Single Serve Protein Cookie
This cookie was even better than my fudgy ones! Crispy outside and chewy center, it reminded me of those ginger snaps I used to plow through in college. Good thing this recipe makes only 1 cookie…
- 2 rounded T protein powder (I used my SP Complete)
- 1.5 T egg whites
- 1 T coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 T cinnamon
- 1/2 T ginger
- 1 1/2 droppers stevia (I used English Toffee)
- sea salt
Mix everything together (except the salt) until batter forms. Plop onto small cookie sheet and sprinkle top with sea salt. Bake in toaster oven at 325 for 10-15 minutes, or until edges brown and center is firm. Please be energy efficient and use a toaster oven. If you don’t already have one, you should really invest in one…
