Workout Wednesday: 20-Minute Full Body Circuit

I love writing workout posts. There’s a reason I studied to be a personal trainer — results!

Now, results take time. Lately, it’s been hard to get myself in the gym, let alone write about it. So here’s a great workout I came up with that will take only about 20 minute and will work your whole body.

Grab a timer (I like the GymBoss Interval Timer) and set it up for eighteen 1-minute sets with 5 seconds of rest to give yourself time to do the next exercise. Do each exercise below for one minute each, then rest for a minute. That’s one round. Repeat for a total of 3 rounds. Use enough weight to challenge yourself. Your muscles should be fully fatigued by the end. To give you an idea, I use a 30# KB and between 17.5# and 20# for the dumbbell. Use a box height that you’re comfortable with.

If you have extra time, follow it up with my arm circuit for some summer-worthy guns.

Happy workout!
